MORE NEW FROM TINKERING INK!!

Just when you thought it was all winding down... here is another new product from Tinkering Ink! Beadles!

They are paper Die-Cuts that you can roll up and they make all different shapes and sizes of beads! Yep, beads to embellish your scrapbook pages, cards and you can even make them into jewelry! The pictures show the beads covered in embossing enamel after they were rolled. You can certainly leave them plain as paper, but embossing them is a better choice if you are going to make them into wearables. The bracelet is what Tinkering Ink will be doing for a Make-N-Take at their CHA booth and the necklaces are being worn by their lovely DT on opening day!
(the multi-color beads shown in the pictures are made from the bottom left die-cuts)

Also being introduced at CHA are TWO additional Peek-a-boo Albums! Look how cute they are!!! Also new chipboard & acrylic shapes!!! Too cool!

NATIONAL COW APPRECIATION DAY!

Did you know that yesterday was National Cow Appreciation Day? Well, my daughter and her friend sure did! The deal was if you dressed up like a cow from head to toe, you could get a free meal at Chik Fil A. These two had been planning this day for weeks - and it paid off! They indeed both got a complete meal and the manager wants me to put all my pictures on a disk for him to send to corporate! He thought they were the best! Enjoy!

BACK FROM A QUICK VACATION!

What a quick trip! We took a little trip up to Atlanta to take part in a preview of Georgia Tech (my soon to be junior in HS has been interested in architecture & as of recent - engineering). I have always LOVED Atlanta and was ever so happy to accommodate this request. We stayed in Buckhead at the Intercontinental for 2 nights and had a fabulous time. What a beautiful Hotel! Then we went off to Stone Mountain and stayed in a wonderful resort there. We took the Sky Rail up the mountain and hiked down - great time was had by all! The next day we were off to Six Flags ("Mom, we live in the theme park capital of the world - what are we doing at another theme park?") One night we went down to "midtown" to a great little restaurant and had REAL Southern Cookin' - SO fabulous!!! We all had a great time though and I for one am glad to be back home! There's truly no place like home!
